Nearby Accommodations
There are many lovely hotels, masserias, and Airbnbs near Barsentum, our wedding venue. Since the venue is accessed by car, we recommend renting one to fully enjoy your time in beautiful Puglia. A car will also give you more flexibility in choosing where to stay.
If you won’t have a car, we suggest staying in the nearby town of Putignano. We’ll arrange a shuttle to pick you up from the town center and bring you back safely at the end of the night.
For other travel needs, we recommend booking taxi services in advance.
Our Story
We met in London in 2020, thanks to a roof leak in Mario’s flat that made him look for a new place to stay.
We became flatmates, then cautiously started dating. A few years later, Mario is trying traditional Romanian food at Irina’s grandma’s house in Brăila, and Irina is telling Mario “tu m'fasc assi matt” (“you make me so mad”) in Bari dialect!
IT Ci siamo incontrati a Londra nel 2020, grazie a una perdita d'acqua dal soffitto nel appartamento di Mario che lo ha costretto a cercare una nuova casa.
Siamo diventati coinquilini, e dopo un po’ abbiamo iniziato a frequentarci (con cautela). Alcuni anni dopo, Mario prova cibo tradizionale romeno a casa della nonna di Irina a Brăila, e Irina dice a Mario “tu m'fasc assi matt”! (“tu mi fai diventare matta!” in barese).
RO Ne-am întâlnit la Londra în 2020, datorită unei infiltrări de apă în apartamentul lui Mario, care l-a făcut să-și caute un loc nou unde să stea.
Am devenit colegi de apartament, apoi am început (tentativ) să ieșim împreună. Câțiva ani mai târziu, Mario mănâncă sarmale acasă la bunica Irinei de la Brăila, iar Irina îi spune lui Mario “tu m'fasc assi matt” (“mă înnebunesti”) în dialectul din Bari!
